CHEAP EASY LOW FAT HEALTHY VEGAN SWEET POTATO LASAGNA

Here’s a great way to make an easy and delicious low fat, pasta-free, gluten-free lip smacking lasagna dish.

We don’t all have the time to make homemade pasta from scratch; so when you’re having a last minute craving for a nice hot dish of lasagna, this recipe is perfect for you! (Especially during our cold winters in Canada). Ready-made lasagnas are easily accessible at the grocery store, but are full of ingredients that are damaging to our health.  Most of the time I eat raw vegan food, but I was craving a nice hot dish of lasagna rather than a cold raw one.potatoe lasagna1

I figured I would take all my raw ingrendients I would normally use to make my raw dish and simply bake it in the oven. I also ended up throwing in some lentil, making it a more robust dish. And let me tell you, you will be pleasantly surprised! It was just out of this world! I couldn’t belive how great and delicious it turned out!  Give it a try and leave

A RAW TRUFFLE AND GREEN ONION CREAM CHEEZE

Ready to tantalize your tastebuds! Here’s a wonderful creamy and delicious raw vegan  cream cheeze made with truffle oil and chopped green onion.

Jazz it up for the holidays with some veggies and fruit.  I made stacks of cucumber slices filled with the cream cheese, and also filled some beautiful figs. Surprise your guests with these mouthfuls of yumminess! Vegan or not, they won’t be able to stop eating these! So, make plenty for these are sure to go!!

This cream cheeze is a  cross between cream cheeze and Italian Marscapone cheeze, and I am sure you and your guests will enjoy. Here’s the link to the recipe for my truffle green onion cream cheeze….enjoy!!

Spicy Papaya and avocado salsa salad

One of my all time favorite salsa salad!!! Naturally sweet with a nice kick of heat to satisfy anyone tastebuds. Don’t like the heat….. omit the chili!

1/2 papaya diced

1 avocado diced

hand full of coriander ( cilantro ) chopped

1/4 white onion thinnly sliced

1 small green chili

juice of a 1/2 lime

salt to taste

1 teaspoon papaya seeds

a small drizzle of vitanamse coriander pesto

served with some raw crackers….. enjoy!

Amazing papaya seeds

Naseem, Nasir’s co-researcher, said that the juice of papaya seeds can prevent the kidney from becoming dysfunctional as it contains flavonoids, which can prevent germs from causing diseases.

She also noted that papaya seeds can protect people from several infections and that they can even rid the body of intestine insects. According to Naseem, around 76.7 percent of Nigerian children got rid of intestine insects by simply drinking papaya seed juice for seven days.

She also cited that the Japanese believed that taking in a teaspoon of papaya seeds can protect their liver from some diseases. Likewise, she said that papaya seeds contain a special compound that helps stop the formation of tumors. She also added that such seeds can cure hemorrhoid kind of diseases and that papaya seeds can be used alongside milk to prevent typhoid disease.

Vegan Chipotle Mayo Recipe!!

What’s a sweet potato without that chipotle mayo to dip it in?? Can be used as a dip or a spread, and it goes well with anything. Let it be a slider or a coconut bacon, tomato and lettuce sandwich. Like the saying goes…I put this **** on anything 😛

Well here you go my vegan friends! It is fast and it is simple and the best part is . . . it’s yummy! To my non vegan friends: give it a go! You will be pleasantly surprised how good vegan mayo can be! Best part is no animals were harmed in preparing this mayo 🙂

AGED Spicy chili paprika cheeze!

What is the first thing someone tells you when they explain why it’s so hard to go vegan?? They will most likely talk to you about dairy and how they just can’t let go of that cheese!! Well, what if I told you that you can make a cheese so good you won’t miss it because you will be able to whip it up in no time at all 🙂 I myself loved cheese, but personally didn’t care to have and cheese what so ever, after knowing what these poor animals went through just so we can steal their milk.

After 8 years or trial and error, I have managed to make some of the best vegan cheeses around. My clients keep returning for more, making that a good sign don’t you think 🙂

So here is one I would like to share with you all. One of my best sellers too!!  So if you liked Goat cheese like me. I loved cheeses, here’s a nice Spicy chili paprika aged cheese that tastes very similar. Here is the link to the video enjoy!!

KIND SCRAMBLED EGGS ANYONE!!!

I am so excited!!! I have been working on a kind scramble egg for you all and I am getting closer and closer to it :). My daughter was the tester today and her exact words were “What the heck mom!” and wanted more lol. I wanted to take a picture of  kind egg  burrito but she just didn’t give me that chance. I will keep working on it and then put up a video on how to make a nice batch so you don’t have to play with it every time you want to make a scramble. Hand in there! I will get you that recipe 🙂 , so subscribe if you want to keep up to date with my recipes.

This just makes it so much easier for people who want to transition to a kind vegan diet.

RAW SPICY CHEEZIE CRACKERS!

Yumm, not sure if you have ever tried raw crackers, but they are simply delicious! With so little ingredients you can whip up a great tasting and healthy cracker for you and your family minus the extras that normally come with a regular cracker such as preservatives and other ingredients we can’t even pronounce!! So, I will be putting up some of my favorite crackers I make that are a must for you to try. Here is one I made the other day, simple delicious, fast and easy. Anyone can enjoy these, let it be if you are a raw foodie or not!!

WARM YUMMY VEGAN CHOCOLATE CAKE

Warm gooey yummy chocolate cake anyone?? I’m sharing this recipe with you, because it is one of my families favorite banana apple chocolate coffee cake i make!!! It’s a no measuring cake I make often by just throwing ingredients in a bowl, and never measuring and my kids always get mad at me telling me write it down mother write it down lol! But I did take the time today to measure everything out for you!! The best part of this recipe is you do really just throw all ingredients into a bowl, and mix by hand till everything combines and pour into you spring pan!!! No fuss is needed in this recipe.

What you will need for this recipe is ….either a 9 inch spring-loaded pan for a higher cake or a 12 inch spring-loaded pan for a more flatter cake. depending on the look you want to go for, and a preheated oven at 375 degrees.

In a bowl you will add….

3 medium sized bananas mashed with a fork

1 pink lady apple ( or apple of your choice ) diced chocbanap3AA

2 1/2 cups of unbleached organic flour

1 cup organic cane sugar

1/4 cup coconut oil

4 tablespoon organic cacao powder  ( chocolate cacao )

1/8 teaspoon grey or pink salt

1/2 teaspoon good vanilla ( liquid or ground )

1 tablespoon baking powder

1  teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 cups of organic almond milk ( you may sub with any vegan milk alternatives )

1 teaspoon kombucha vinegar ( you can sub with apple cider vinegar)

Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix till blended. Add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 

mix and pour into a greased ( I use coconut oil ) and floured spring-loaded pan.

Topping

Take two extra bananas and slice for the top, and sprinkle a handful of cane sugar on top . ( this give it that nice crunch )

Optional only …. u can also add by sprinkling some instant coffee granules on top for a that rich chocolate coffee taste.

Place in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes, Do a toothpick test make sure it doesn’t come out wet 🙂

VEGAN ITALIAN ARANCINI!

With the holidays just around the corner, these are the perfect finger foods. Coming from an Italian family, these delicious arancini (rice balls) are always on the holiday table.

You can make them as big as you want, or make them smaller so you can serve them as tiny hor d’oeuvres if you have friends coming over. You can stuff them with vegan cheeze, or anything your heart desires. Always a nice surprise when you bite into one.

But these don’t have to be just for the holidays, you can enjoy them whenever you want. Great for snack foods and kids’ lunches. Have some leftover rice in the refrigerator and you have no idea what to make?? You can easily make some delicious arancinis.
